Dear Friend,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a great joy to serve him and to serve you who care so deeply about our orthodox faith and the renewal of The United Methodist Church.

Over the past 50 years, The United Methodist Church in the U.S. has lost over 3,865,000 members. That’s a 36 percent decline. Of course, the decline is even greater where our churches are most liberal.

On top of that, The United Methodist Church is in crisis. Some bishops and annual conferences have determined to no longer live by our Book of Discipline and the moral standards and church teaching established by the General Conference. The level of rancor and disagreement have reached a critical level, and the faithful witness of the church is at stake. Will we continue to be a church that lives by the teachings of Scripture, or will we compromise with the ever-changing winds of modern culture?

Your faithful giving allows Good News representatives to work with United Methodist leaders around the world to create a faithful future. Your generous donations will enable us to continue in the struggle to influence our leaders to put Christ first—ahead of cultural correctness and church politics.

Because Good News is a charter member of the Evangelical Council on Financial Accountability, you can be assured that your gifts are being handled with integrity and subject to strict accountability standards.

Good News has always trusted you and people like you to support our work, and you have never let us down. I pray that you will continue to trust us as we represent you and our Lord as we contend for the faith once and for all delivered to the saints.

Yours in Christ,

Rob Renfroe
